ABOUT MONGOLIAN DAYS IN MONTREAL

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Union of Mongolians in Montreal (UMM) successfully organized a "Mongolian Days" action in the Angrignon Mall in Montreal city, Canada, on June 6.
During the event, exhibits of Mongolian lifestyle were mounted, the Mongolian foods were on offer. A concert of the Mongolian songs and folk dances was given to the gathered in the Angrignon Mall. By the way, money collected from the "Mongolian Days" event will be donated to the "Lotus" orphans' care house in Ulaanbaatar.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Canada Mr. T.Zalaa-Uul addressed the event, then held a meeting with the Mongolians. The Ambassador appreciated this event for its advertising the Mongolian culture and life and for rendering a humanitarian assistance, and promised to support all actions to be organized by the UMM. He appealed to the Mongolians to found a union of all Mongolians in Canada and then expand it to a united union of Mongolians in North America.
The UMM's president D.Lhagvasuren expressed thanks to the Ambassador for supporting activities of the union, and granted him a certificate named after the UMM.
