LAND AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION RECEIVES DEVICES


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Administration of Land Affairs, Geodesy and Cartography (ALAGC) has received the latest equipment and facilities from the “Sustainable livelihood-2” project co-implemented by the governments of Mongolia and Japan, the World Bank (WB) and the European Union (EU).
The equipment and facilities compising map printers and GPS devices will go to to the departments of land relations and urban development of all aimags and their 329 soums.
The presentation ceremony took place Tuesday in the ALAGC with Andrew Goodland, a leader of the “Sustainable livelihood-2” project and an advisor to the WB, Sh.Batsukh, a head of the ALAGC and other.
The ALAGC's head hopes that these up-to-date facilities and software will help make technological reform in the land affairs sector.
