FOREIGNERS ALLOWED TO HUNT SOME ANIMALS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The government of Mongolia has fixed size of animals for hunting for special use of the year 2010.
According to the governmental decision, foreigners are allowed to hunt 50 wild sheep, 200 wild mountain goats, 50 roe-deer, 80 dzeren antelopes, 60 grey wolves, 200 hunting birds. A quota has been set to hunt and export 240 saker falcons. One saker falcon costs USD 12 thousand.
As for the public needs, people are allowed to hunt 241 roe-deer, 208 boars, 2,025 dzeren antelopes, 200 mask-rats, 13,800 fishes, and 3,000 heads of grouses, wood-grouses and partridges. Uvs, Zavkhan, Bayan-Olgii and Dornod aimags are permitted to catch 100 tons of fish.
