Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) reported Thursday that a Mongolian gymnastic athlete G.Erdenebold has been qualified by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to take part in the Summer Youth Olympic Games 2010 that will run 14-26 August in Singapore.
G.Erdenebold is awarded as such thanks to winning a silver medal at the Gymnastics Asian Championships. Apart of him, three young Mongolians have gained the rights in free-style wrestling, judo and triathlon sports so far.

A State Honored Sportsman and Olympic champion boxer E.Badar-Uugan will leave for a foreign country to fight in international competitions on June 27. He will compete in international arena for the first time since the Beijing Olympic Games, after two-year interval due to an injury.
Firstly, he will take part in international competitions named after N.Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan's President, to run in Astana city. After this Badar-Uugan will participate in other boxing competitions to be held July in Moscow, Russia.
Prior to the Kazakh President's competitions, the Mongolian boxers led by E.Badar-Uugan will have a joint training with their Kazakh counterparts.
