Al-Qaeda blows up oil pipe in Mareb

SANA'A, June 12 (Saba)- Al-Qaeda elements in Mareb governorate blew up on Saturday an oil pipe in an attempt to distract efforts of the
security personnel who are imposing a cordon around the terrorist elements in Aal Jamil and Ubaida Valley districts, according to almotamar.net.

The security sources affirmed that the continuous siege and control against those
al-Qaeda elements helped curb their movement and cut their communication.
It noted that the siege will continue till those elements involved in terrorist
crimes in Mareb as well as other Yemeni governorates are arrested.
The sources also added that there are efforts by some social personalities to
persuade a number of those elements to surrender themselves and avoid committing
any acts harming
citizens and their properties.
