Hajjah marks World Day against Child Labor

HAJJAH,June 12 (Saba)- A speech and
artistic celebration was held in Abs district ,Hajjah province, on Saturday to mark
the World
Day World Day Against Child Labor.
In the celebration, organized by the "Access Plus" Program with support from the
U.S. Department of Labor, Hajjah Governor Farid Mujawar praised the role played by
the program
in coordination and cooperation with other relevant agencies to reduce the
phenomenon of child labor and dropping-out of education.
He emphasized the local authorities to raise the society awareness to address these
negative phenomena through adopting and supporting the programs in this field.
For his part, Director-General of the Access Plus Program Jamal al-Haddi reviewed
the activities carried out by the program during the past period, hailing the
cooperation
of the various official agencies in the province.
Furthermore, the governor opened the exhibition of paintings and handicrafts
organized by the program in this occasion.
