MALAYSIA AIRLINES TO FLY TO BANDUNG IN JULY

SUBANG (Malaysia), June 14 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines will fly to
Bandung in July making it the sixth destination in Indonesia offered by the
national carrier after Jakarta, Bali, Medan, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.

"Extending our services to Bandung is a natural progression for us as it is
in line with our plans for network expansion.

"The new flights will offer greater connectivity, boost tourism and increase
traffic for both countries," said Malaysia Airlines Senior General Manager
Commercial Strategy Dr Amin Khan in a statement Monday.

The carrier is offering promotional fares starting from RM181(US$55)one way
all inclusive from June 14 to 28.

"Malaysia Airlines will be the first full service carrier to fly to Bandung.
We believe we will offer value for customers flying this route," Amin said,
adding that shoppers would be especially appreciative of the 20kg baggage
allocation as Bandung was well known as a shopping haven.
