Yemen, AFD talk in tenders fields
SANA'A, June 13 (Saba) - Yemen and French Agency
for Development (AFD) discussed here on Saturday the possible bilateral cooperation
in tenders
area.
Head of the Supreme Authority for Mentoring Tenders (SAMT) Abdul-Malik al-Arashi
held talks with AFD Country Director Christian Flamand on the Agency's support for
the Authority's
efforts in mentoring tenders.
During the talks, al-Arashi said that establishment of SAMT was a part if the
government's agenda for reforms which is being implemented by Yemen in different
fields.
He confirmed the importance of AFD and other donors' technical and financial aid
for SMAT to be able to achieve its tasks, topped by controlling the tenders'
actions.
For his par, the French official voiced the AFD readiness to offer all technical
support to the authority and presenting the international experiences in the field
of strategies
and information systems required for the SAMT.
