PAKISTANI COMPANIES TO PARTICIPATE IN MIHAS 2010
KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 (Bernama) -- More than eight top ranked companies
from Pakistan will participate in the Malaysia International Halal Showcase
(MIHAS)in Kuala Lumpur from June 23-27.
The companies deal in Basmati rice, raw chicken formed products, fruits,
vegetables and processed vegetables, the Commercial Counselor for
Pakistan in Malaysia, Wajiuallah Kundi said in a statement Monday.
He said MIHAS provides the Pakistani companies an unique platform to
introduce their products to more than 30,000 visitors from 65 countries.
"In addition, we will have the opportunity to engage 381 foreign companies
from 54 countries for business match-making and networking.
"These companies are participating in the World Halal Forum (WHF) and World
Halal Research Summit (WHRS) being held in conjunction with MIHAS," he added.
