Oil minister holds meeting with delegations of oil and gas companies
SANA'A, June 14
(Saba)- Minister of Oil and Minerals Wealth Amir al-Adaros held a meeting on Monday
with
the delegation of the Pakistani A.G Company for investment and home gas marketing
over available investment in the gas sector in Yemen.
The delegation of the Pakistani company briefed the minister on the activities of
the company as one of the leading companies in domain of producing the home gas.
The minister pointed out to the growing demand on the home gas as main resources
for the clean energy in the recent years in the Yemeni market.
He confirmed concern of the ministry to offer all required information about the
gas sector in the country, saying that the country's gas reserves reach18.2
trillion cubic
feet.
The Pakistani delegation voiced desire to invest in field of home gas in Yemen.
On the other hand, the minister held another meeting with the delegation Hungarian
oil company (MOL) over oil available investments in Yemen.
In the meeting, al-Adaros reviewed the oil industries in the country, saying that
the country still needs for further investments in this regard.
