FURIOUS INDIAN WIFE DOES A 'LORENA BOBBIT' ON UNFATIHFUL HUSBAND

NEW DELHI, June 17 (Bernama) -- Peeved by her husband's alleged serial
infidelity, a nurse decided to use her clinical skills to use.

Grabbing a kitchen knife, she performed a 'Lorena Bobbit' on her spouse
after spiking his drinks at their matrimonial home in Punjab.

She severed his penis!

Earlier, the woman had lodged a complaint with the local police against her
husband, accusing him of having affairs with several women.

However, she decided to withdraw the complaint as she wanted to teach the
three-wheel auto driver a lesson by herself, reported the local media.

According to police, the woman had, last Tuesday, mixed some intoxicants
with liquor and served her husband at their home in Kapurthala district,
Bholath.

That night, as the man was lay in a drunken stupour, she sliced off his
penis with a knife and reported the gruesome incident to the police.

The police have arrested the woman for attempted murder.

Bholath deputy superintendent of police Mohinder Singh said the victim was
admitted to a local hospital where doctors managed to re-attach his penis.

However, he said the man was in a serious condition.

The couple have three children but their marriage is strained because of the
husband's alleged illicit affairs.

On June 23, 1993, a highly-intoxcated John Wayne Bobbit was said to have
committed 'spousal rape' on his wife, Lorena Bobbit, at their apartment in
Manassas, Virginia, USA after a night of partying.

Later, Lorena went to the kitchen and armed with a carving knife, cut off
almost half the man's penis and threw it away in a field.

Doctors re-attached John's penis after a nine-hour surgery.
