MALAYSIAN FM BEGINS FIVE-DAY NEW ZEALAND VISIT THURSDAY

PUTRAJAYA, June 22 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman will
make an official five-day visit to New Zealand from Thursday.

Anifah will have a bilateral meeting with his counterpart, Murray McCully,
and call on Prime Minister John Key, said a Wisma Putra (Ministry of Foreign
Affairs) statement.

The two foreign ministers are scheduled to address the Asean-New Zealand
senior officials dialogue in Auckland.

The statement said the visit is testimony to the commitment of both
countries to further enhance bilateral relations in the years ahead.

Anifah will also meet Malaysian students, it said.
