Hankook Tire to supply tires to Ford

SEOUL, June 22 (Yonhap) -- Hankook Tire Co., South Korea's largest tiremaker,
said Tuesday that it plans to supply high-performance tires to U.S. carmaker Ford
Motor Co.
The tires will be installed on Ford's 2011 Lincon MKT crossover to be launched at
the end of the year, Hankook Tire said.
The company, however, did not reveal how many tires it will provide to Ford.
The South Korean tiremaker has been providing Ford with tires for new vehicles
since 1999. It also supplies tires to such global automakers as General Motors
Co. and Volkswagen.
