PREMIER GIVES INTERVIEW TO CHINA DAILY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's Prime Minister S.Batbold said Tuesday Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to Mongolia early June contributed significantly to bilateral relations and cooperation, especially in solving definite matters of economic collaboration.
It was sounded during the interview the Premier gave to China's English language "China Daily" newspaper June 22. The daily is preparing a special issue fully dedicated to Mongolia.
A special high-level meeting mechanism played an important role in developing comprehensive Mongolia-China cooperation, Mr. Batbold said.
During Wen's visit paid June 1-2 the two dignitaries agreed to strengthen the cooperation in areas including mining, infrastructure, culture and education, and to increase trade volume.
The Chinese side promised to give an assistance to proposed by Mongolia matters such as deeply processing mining and agriculture raw materials and distributing them to the Chinese and third markets, increasing logistics and transit transportation, the Premier said.
Batbold said the two countries have great opportunities to cooperate in manufacturing value-added products and developing connected with it infrastructure, in providing jobs, in the sector of agriculture especially in founding an enterprise that gives final products.
Regarding a business environment, he went on, the Mongolian government would continue its open policies and would, strictly obeying the laws, more actively support key sectors by tax and financial policies, encourage the development of enterprises who have environmentally-friendly technologies and social responsibilities and who cares for regional development.
