CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Initiated by Ts.Batbayar MR draft law on "Amending the General law on tax" and by N.Batbayr MP parliamentary draft resolution on "About creating a united system of classification and registration of Mongolia's laws" failed to receive the cabinet meeting's approval. The initiators will be informed about it.
The cabinet decided to annul the 177th governmental resolution of 1997, because the rule of issuing the certificates for court and accounting will be amended and will be endorsed by a joint order of the Ministers of Justice and Internal Affairs and of Finance.
The cabinet backed a draft national report on human rights condition in Mongolia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar was ordered to submit the report to the UN Human Rights Council.
Results of official visit of the Czech Republic's Premier paid last month to Mongolia were discussed. The Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar was ordered to submit the results to the National Security Council (NSC). Related Ministers were ordered to study an opportunity to buy an area where the Embassy of Mongolia in CR is located with a capital of the Czech government.
The government considered as necessary to organize the 5th regular Mongolia-Bulgaria inter-government meeting on cooperation in trade, economics, science and technology in Ulaanbaatar from June 30 through July 2.
In accordance with the cabinet decision, 30 apartments in the city's Bayanzurkh district registered by the National Mental Center will be transferred to ownership of the households without a charge.
The Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development Kh.Battulga introduced to the cabinet an implementation course of the program on prevention of crimes against traffic securit. As of end of 2009, 4,616 traffic accidents and 1,387 crimes against vehicle movement security and vehicle service regulations took place nationwide. Due to them, 317 people died, 918 got injured.
The Defense Minister L.Bold introduced the results of his participation in the “Shangri-La Dialogue 2010” held June 4-6 in Singapore and in the Defense Ministerial Meeting of the ISAF held June 11 in Brussels, Belgium.
