Diplomatic relations between Laos and Kuwait established
(KPL) The governments of the Lao PDR and of Kuwait have decided to set up diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level following the formal signing of a joint communique in Bangkok, Thailand, on 14 July.
Signing the document were Mr. Mohammed Salem al-Ajmi, Ambassador of Kuwait
to Thailand, and Mr. Ouan Phommachack, Ambassador of Laos to Thailand.
The governments of Laos and Kuwait hoped that the establishment of the
diplomatic relations would promote and strengthen the relations between the
two counties and a determination to boost co-operation for mutual benefit.
