DEMO-TRAINING ON EMERGENCY HELD IN DEPARTMENT STORE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A demo-training on protection from dangers of disasters, accidents and fires took place Tuesday in the State Department Store.
The action was co-organized by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the City's Emergency Department, the 10th Unit of Firefighting and Rescue, the "Nomin Holding" company and the Red Cross Society (RCS). It involved some 200 people--rescuers of the 105th emergency group of the NEMA, staffers of the "Nomim Holding" company, the RCS and some tradesmen of the Department Store.
The rescuers showed how to save people and properties in the Department Store in case of earthquake or fire. They also gave training on organizing all types of provisions for protection of disasters, setting free the emergency exit and on rescuing people on the roof using automatic ladder, rendering first aid, making artificial respiration and using fire-extinguishers.
