YOUNG COMPOSER TAKES 3RD PLACE AT INT'L CONTEST

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian composer Sh.Olziibayar has taken third place in international contest of young composers.
Organized for the 16th time, the contest is held in Italy under auspices of the country's President. Moreover, a famous composer Ennio Morricone worked as the general judge.
The Mongolian composer showed the biggest success among his Mongolian counterparts in this kind of contest, and received a a certificate for the third place and a cash prize of EUR 1,500.
A gala concert by the prize winners of the contest will take place August 2 in the central square of Italy's Bologna city with an outstanding conductor Riccardo Ceni.
The brilliant success of the Mongolian composer has been attracting attention of the contest's judges and experts. The student of Moscow's Music Academy named after brothers Gnesiny, Sh.Olziibayar also has won recently a prize in a contest named after composer S.Prokofiev which has run in Moscow, Russia.
