Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At the Wednesday's cabinet meeting, a head of the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government Ch.Khurelbaatar introduced to the cabinet results of opinion poll that was run among citizens on ways of delivering benefits from the Human Development Fund (HDF). The poll was run in a scope of implementing the law on HDF.
According to the poll, two million 358 thousand and 432 people, by duplicated number, do not want to receive benefits from the fund in cash, he said.
520,665 people or 22.1 per cent prefer to receive the money in a form of recompensation of the pensions and health insurances, 344,768 people or 14.6 per cent--for health service, 437,992 people or 18.5 per cent--for educational service, 427,716 people or 18.1 per cent--for apartments leasing and recompensation of loan interest, and 739,812 people or 31.4 per cent--as recompensation of livestock loans and other loans. To sum up, 87.3 per cent of all citizens see their benefits in a cashless form, he said.
Orders were given to some Ministers--of Social Welfare and Labor; Health; Finance; Education, Culture and Science; Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development to take urgent measures to realize a governmental resolution on granting MNT 1.5 million to every person.
