FOREIGN MINISTER PARTICIPATES IN FORUM OF LDN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar took part in the forum of the League of Democratic Nations (LDN) held July 2-4 in Krakyv city, Poland.
Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, the 10th forum of the LDN brought together Foreign Ministers, democracy and human rights activists and representatives of NGOs from many countries.
This year's forum has focused on distributing the democracy around the world and on ways of overcoming barriers emerging in strengthening the democracy.
During the meeting, working groups were set up under themes "Threats to civil society", "Gender equality", "Democracy", "Development" and "Poverty" to hold discussions.
At the forum, the Foreign Ministers of Mongolia and Poland gave speeches to the gathered. Mr. Zandanshatar met Mrs. Hillary Clinton, the U.S Secretary of State, and Nobel Prize laureate Mr. Lech Walesa, a former President of Poland and a chairman of the Solidarity Union.
