DPM urges Oudomxay to take a hard look at village clusters
(KPL) Mr Asang Laoly, Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation, paid a working visit to Oudomxay province on 15 July. During his visit he urged the local authorities to look at the shortcomings of the development of village clusters since its inception some years back .
Mr Asang, who is also the Party's Central Secretary was warmly welcomed by Dr Bounpone Boudtanavong, the Governor of Oudomxay province, officials oflocal authorities and people.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged the leaders of this province to mobilize the people and businessmen to develop the economic sector. He urged the local authorities to focus on the production of market oriented products, to get the local people to change jobs in order to better their lives and to implement the policiesrelated to poverty reduction.
