New Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates presents credentials
VIENTIANE 13 JULY (KPL) - The Republic’s President, Mr. Choummaly Sayasone, on 13 July, received the letter of credentials from the new ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, H.E Mr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed Omran Al Shamsi.
President Choummaly Sayasone congratulated the ambassador and wished him success in contributing to the reinforcement of the relations of friendship between the two countries.
The new diplomat stressed that he would put all efforts to expand the bilateral relations to new and better quality.
At present, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates has the chancellery in Bangkok, Thailand.
Laos has established the diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates since 15 October, 1996.
