MALAYSIAN KING RECEIVES CHINA'S TOURISM DELEGATION

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian King Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin
and his consort Tuanku Nur Zahirah today received a delegation from China
National Tourism Administration (CNTA) headed by its chairman, Shao Qiwei.

Accompanied by China Embassy in Malaysia consular officer Yuan Gu Xing, the
delegation was received by Tourism Minister Dr Ng Yen Yen and ministry's
secretary-general Dr Ong Hong Peng and Tourism Malaysia director-general Mirza
Mohammad Taiyab.

China Tourism Association secretary-general Liu Zhijiang was also a member of
the delegation.

Shao, who is also China's Tourism Minister, later presented an antique ceramic
vase to the Malaysian King.

Besides touring Kuala Lumpur, the delegation will visit Pangkor Laut and Langkawi.
