Information Committees for 2009 SEA Games assigned

(KPL) - The National Information Committees and Information Sub-Committees for the 25th SEA Games in 2009 hosted by Laos have been assigned for reporting the biggest event of the nation.

The establishment of information committee was announced by Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Dr Borsaengkham Vongdala at a press conference on 22 July.

Dr Borsaengkham who is also the Head of National Information Committee for the 25th SEA Games will be responsible for covering stories involving to the progressive activities of SEA Games.

So, the Government has agreed to appoint five sub-committees namelyinformation centre, sub-committee for domestic press centre, sub-committee for foreign press centre, sub-committee for broadcasting centre and coordination.

The five sub-committees are ready to cover event of the 25th South East Asia Games in 2009 and National Sport Games in Champassak province at the end of this year.

The sub-committees will practice how to work together at the 8th National Games in Champassak province in order to serve the 2009 SEA Games.
