M NEXUS TO CONDUCT FEASIBILITY STUDY WITH M'SIAN BUILDERS ON ROAD PROJECT IN SRI LANKA
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 30 (Bernama) -- M Nexus Sdn Bhd will conduct a project
feasibility study with Malaysian contractors to complete a road work project in
Sri Lanka.
M Nexus, a leading project promoter and project management consultant in
Malaysia, recently announced the execution of a binding memorandum of
understanding (MoU) with the Sri Lanka Government to assist in road development
work in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara in Sri Lanka.
The inaugural MoU for the road work project was signed on Aug 4 by M Nexus chief
executive officer Marcuz Morthi and chief minister of western province, Sri
Lanka, Prasana Rannatunga.
"Working together with the Sri Lanka Government in this project has
developed a bilateral and multilateral cooperation on the basis of mutual trust and
support," said Marcus in a statement Monday.
Under the agreement, around 1,100Km, which includes 205 projects in the Colombo
district covering 225km, 367 projects in Gampaha district involving 402 Km and
238 projects in Kalutara district covering 481km will be drawn up for the road
works.
Incorporated this year, M Nexus has created a benchmark in project
development, construction and management services.
M Nexus said it would introduce Malaysian contractors to undertake mega projects
in Sri Lanka with its good relationship and friendship with the Sri Lanka
Government.
