13 M'SIAN COMPANIES & CONSULTANTS ATTENDING UBS ASEAN & INDIA CONFERENCE

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 (Bernama) –- Thirteen leading Malaysian companies and
consultants are attending the three-day UBS Asean and India Conference 2010 in
Singapore beginning Wednesday.

The conference offers Malaysian companies the opportunity to showcase their
capabilities to the international investment community.

It also provides “on-the-ground” insights and the chance for attendees to meet
company managements through one-on-one meetings and roundtable discussions,
said UBS in a statement Wednesday.

Some 300 institutional investors from Australia, Asia, Europe and the US and
close to 80 listed and unlisted companies from India, Singapore, Indonesia,
Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines are attending the highly-anticipated
event.

Top management personnel and consultants of Malaysian companies attending the
conference are from CIMB, E&O Properties, YTL Power, Genting Berhad, Mah Sing
and Top Glove.

Other attendees include Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Idris Jala,
who is also CEO of the Government’s Performance Management and Delivery Unit
(PEMANDU).
