ISTF OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MALAYSIAN INDIAN STUDENTS

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 (Bernama) -- The Indian Scholarship and Trust Fund
(ISTF) is providing financial assistance to all qualified Malaysian Indian
students pursuing studies at universities, polytechnics and selected
institutions in Malaysia for the academic year 2010-11.

The High Commission of India in a statement Wednesday said that the
financial assistance was only supplementary in nature and would not cover the
full cost of studies.

The ISTF application forms can be obtained directly from the High Commission
of India (Education Section) or can be downloaded from education webpage of the
Indian High Commission's website, www.indianhighcommision.com.my.

The last date for submission is Sept 30.
