TWO STUDENTS INJURED IN BOMB ATTACK

BANGKOK, Sept 25 (Bernama) -– Two female students were injured in a bomb attack Friday, the fourth such attack in the city within these two months.

Kositawanitchapong said the bomb which was hidden in a garbage bin at Soi 29 of Rama
III Road exploded at 5.30pm as they were passing by.
The students' identities and the seriousness of their injuries have yet to be
ascertained.
On Aug 31, a bomb exploded at the government-owned National Broadcasting
Television (NBT) station, here. No casualties was reported in that attack.
On Aug 27, a security guard was seriously injured when a grenade exploded at the
King Power Duty Free Complex, here, and another bomb exploded opposite the
complex on July 30, injuring a scavenger.
Bangkok and six other provinces have placed under state of emergency rule since
early April, following a spate of anti-government protest and unrest which left
91 people dead and 1,800 injured.
