GLOBAL BUSINESS FORUM PICKS SARAWAK AGAIN
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- The east Malaysian state of Sarawak has
been chosen again as the venue for the three-day second Malaysian Global
Business Forum beginning Nov 9.
Sarawak was given the honour due to its ability to offer investors not only
a dynamic and vibrant environment, but a stable political climate for effective
decision-making, said the Malaysian Global Business Forum.
It said Sarawak's well-developed infrastructures and productive workforce
would give the forum the right credence in projecting itself as a platform for
enhancing global business cooperation with Malaysia.
"This is expected to facilitate Malaysian business as well to invest and
penetrate global markets," it said in a statement.
The business forum, to be held at the Borneo Convention Centre in Sarawak's
capital Kuching, will again provide a platform for key statesmen and business
leaders from growing economies like Brunei, Fiji, Laos, Maldives, Thailand and
Uruguay.
