Needy children of four poor provinces to receive relief aid packages
(KPL) The Women's Federation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Exterior relations Committee of Party Central Committee donated a number of aid packages worth 97 million kip to four provincial Women's Federations on 28 July to help needy children in four provinces.
The aid packages have been given to four Women's Federations of Xiengkhouang, Houaphanh, Sekong and Saravane provinces to donate to poorchildren.
Handover ceremony of aid package took place at the Mitrichith GovernmentResident.
The aid made up of clothes, shoes, educational materials, medical treatment, dried food, canned fish, instant noodles and other items which was handed over by Mme Naly Sisoulath, Honourable Chairwoman of Women's Federation o Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Exterior Relation Committee of Party Central Committee to representatives of four provincial Women's Federations. The event has drawn witness eyes from ambassadors' wives in Laos and Non-Governmental Organisations.The aids have got from fund raising campaign in the international culture exchange for charity. The campaign have been organised by the Women's Federation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Exterior Relation Committee of Party Central Committee, ambassadors' wives and other NGOs in Laos. On occasion of celebration of International Women'sDay took place at the International Cooperation Training Centre on 25 July.
