TURKEY READY TO WORK WITH EVERYONE WHO ACCEPTS PEACE VISION, FM SAYS

BOSTON (A.A) - 29.09.2010 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Wednesday that Turkey was ready to work with everyone who accepted the vision of peace.
Davutoglu gave a conference on new world order and Turkish foreign policy's priorities in that order at John F. Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University in Boston.
Replying to a question on future of Palestine issue and Turkish foreign policy on the matter, Davutoglu said, "Palestinian people have suffered a lot and today 1.5 million people are living in open-air prison in Gaza."
Davutoglu said children were killed there which could not be accepted. "Neither states nor nongovernmental organizations should remain silent to this tragedy," he said.
There is need for international solidarity regarding the Palestine issue, he said. "It is enough! Palestine issue affects everything in the world. The two-state solution is needed," he said.
"We don't need road map any longer. We need end of the road. What is the end? There is need for a clear vision, and the rights of Palestinian people should be respected," he said.
