ADAM LAMBERT CONCERT CAN GO AHEAD IF CONDITIONS MET
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- The 'Adam Lambert Glam Nation Tour Live in
Malaysia 2010' concert can go ahead provided the organisers adhere to the
conditions set by the Central Agency for Application for Filming and Performance
of Foreign Artistes (Puspal).
Its principal assistant secretary Mohd Dian Nais said one of the conditions
was that the artiste must be decently attired and not commit such undesirable
acts as removing his clothes while performing.
He said Marctensia Entertainment and Sony Music, the organisers of the Adam
Lambert concert, his first in Malaysia, had been briefed on other conditions
such as there must be a distance of 7.5 metres between the stage and the crowd.
Mohd Dian recalled that the Akon concert at the Sunway Lagoon Beach last
year was stopped by the local authority when the American R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop
star acted indecently by removing his shirt while performing.
The concert featuring Adam Lambert, the American Idol runner-up in 2009,
will be held on Thursday at the Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil.
Earlier, Mohd Dian received a note of protest against the concert from PAS
Youth deputy head, Azman Shapawi Abdul Rani.
