ALBANIA AND MOZAMBIQUE FIRST LADIES CALL ON ROSMAH



PUTRAJAYA, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- The prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor
Monday received a courtesy call from Albania First Lady, Teuta Topi and
Mozambique First Lady, Maria De Luz Guebuza.

The 30-minute meeting at the prime minister's official residence, Seri
Perdana, here took place in conjunction with the First Ladies Summit which
begins Tuesday.

After the courtesy call, Rosmah who is also the patron of the summit, hosted
lunch for 15 First Ladies.

Among those present were Toure Lobbo Traore (Mali), Patience Jonathan
(Nigeria), Natalie Brigitte Nadage Michel (Seychelles) and Shiranthi Rajapaksa
(Sri Lanka).

The First Ladies Summit 2010, organised by the Women, Family and Community
Development Ministry, is themed "A Child Today, A Leader Tomorrow".
