Blood donation saves life
(KPL) Over 60 people donated blood for trivialising blood shortage at
hospitals across Vientiane last week, has said the Lao Red Cross.
The donation comes from government officials, soldiers, enterprise and health workers within Vientiane capital.
Blood is needed by hospitals to save life of patients, especially those who
are bleeding while giving birth or getting accidents.
Daily, the Blood Donation Centre provides between 30 and 40 250-cc bags of
blood to hospitals in Vientiane.
