PM meets Chinese Communist Party Politburo member

New Delhi, Nov 1 (PTI) When the Prime Ministers of India
and China shake hands, the world notices.
This is what Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said
quoting his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao when he met Zhou
Yong Kang, Chinese Communist Party Politburo member here
Monday.
Singh made the comment when he shook hands with Zhou
during a call on by the latter at his residence, sources said.
Officials described the meeting as warm and cordial.
Zhou, ranked ninth in the Chinese hierarchy, is here at
the invitation of the Congress party.
Singh and Wen recently met in Malaysia and agreed that
there was enough space in the world for both the countries to
grow. The Chinese premier is expected to visit India on
