KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- Laos President Choummaly Sayasone will arrive in Malaysia on Wednesday for a two-day official visit.

Sayasone who is currently on a two-nation visit to Brunei and Malaysia, will
be accompanied by his wife Keosaychay Sayasone and a delegation comprising seven
cabinet minister and senior government officials.

According to a statement by Wisma Putra (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) here
Tuesday, Sayasone is expected to call upon King Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin at
the National Palace and Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

According to Wisma Putra, the visit was in reciprocation with the state
visit by King in 2008.

Wisma Putra said relations between Malaysia an Laos had progressed
significantly since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two
countries, encompassing cooperation in fields of trade, investment, economy,
