Standing DPM welcomes Japanese guest

(KPL) Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Standing Deputy Prime Minister received at his office in Vientiane on Monday a courtesy visit from Mr. Koho, Honorary President of Toyama Province's Laos-Japan Friendship Association.

At the talks, Mr. Somsavat praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of
the Toyama province delegation as a big contribution to enhance the
traditional relation of friendship and co-operation between Laos and Japan,
especially between Laos and Toyama province.
On this occasion, Mr. Koho expressed thanks to Mr. Somsavat for his warm
welcome and briefed him the activities of the delegation made during stay in
Laos.
During the visit to Laos, the Toyama province delegation has presented 2
million yen ( Japanese currency) to the Lao Central Youth Union to build the
sports center of the union.
The Lao Youth Union has asked the Toyama province to receive some of Lao
youth for skills training in Japan.
