Locals of Ban Dane Xang learn about environmental protection

(KPL) A meeting on disseminating land issues and forest and environment law
was held in Dane Xang village, Saythany district on 1 August under the
chairmanship of Mr Phouvieng Bounsily, Deputy Chief of Saythany district who
is also Deputy Head of Land Titling Management Authority of Vientiane
Capital.
Taking place at the meeting were Head of Forestry Division of Vientiane
Capital and local residents.
The participants were disseminated on land matters and law on forest and
environment and other regulation.
The policy and plan of Government and Party involving the protection of
natural resources method, land and forest management has also been
highlighted at the meeting with the aim of provide better understanding to
locals.
The conservation of Houay Yang forest activity considers in line with the
development plan in new era. Therefore all social strata should take into
conservation activities so as to lead to sustainable development.
