Swiss group to provide consultancy for MobiFone's equitisation
Hanoi (VNA) - Credit Suisse, a big financial-banking group of
Switzerland , will work as consultant for the equitisation of MobiFone, a leading mobile phone service provider of Vietnam , according to the Ministry of Information and Telecoms.
The group has been selected from 10 candidates.
MobiFone plans to complete its equitisation by the end of this year and
make its initial public offering (IPO) in early 2009.
Some 30 percent of MobiFone's shares will be offered at the IPO.
Mobifone was selected by the local E-chip Mobi magazine as Vietnam 's
most favourite cell phone services provider, and the network with best
after-sale services and best non-voice services of 2007.-
