Qatar Green Council Seminar to Probe Renewable Energy
Doha (QNA) - Renewable energy and sustainable systems will be the focus of the seminar, organised by a green forum, starting here Tuesday.
Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) will host the seminar on 'Energy and Power: Quality Green Solutions' at its headquarters from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, the forum announced in a media statement today.
Speakers at the seminar include Green Gulf CEO Omran Al Kuwari who will present, 'Solar Energy, Expectations for Qatar 2022', an analysis of renewable energy and the role it can play in the construction boom expected in the run up to FIFA World Cup in 2022.
Kahramaa Senior Engineer Dr. Wael Mamluk will speak on the topic of 'Harmonics, Modelling & Simulation, Energy Saving, Test Systems and Electric Networks providing an informative insight of power quality and green energy management systems.
Schneider Electric Project Manager Tamer Qazi will present Energy Management, Sustainable Buildings Design and Operations outlining practical solutions of how these new green building practices should be applied in the construction sector.
