Qaeda leader, 2 assistants captured west Mosul
Mosul (NINA) – In a joint security operation carried out on Tuesday, Feb. 15, by the army and police west of Mosul, a Qaeda leader and two of his assistants captured.
Military source told NINA that based on intelligence information, a joint force captured in Ba'aj district, 120 km west of Mosul, a Qaeda leader called "Abo Majid" and two of his assistants.
He pointed out that the three are captured based on arrest warrants issued by the judiciary and they are now being interrogated at a military headquarters.
