Russia, Germany, Poland lawmakers to discuss Russia-EU cooperation

KALININGRAD, February 21 (Itar-Tass) -- The lawmakers from Russia,
Germany and Poland will have the first tripartite meeting here on Monday
to discuss a broad range of issues in Russian-EU cooperation, a source in the government of the Kaliningrad Region told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
Members of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Russian State Duma,
the Polish Sejm and the German Bundestag will have four sessions at the
meeting. The sessions will be devoted to Russian-EU economic cooperation, including the energy and transport industries, and easier visa rules for broader bilateral and inter-human relations.
The lawmakers will give assessments to military and political aspects of European security, the problems and ways to achieve stability in Europe. The deputies will also focus on the experience and the prospects for the relations between Russia, Germany and Poland.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin
Kosachev will head the Russian delegation at a tripartite parliamentary
meeting.
