Japan's Fabrication of "Korea-Japan Protocol" under Fire

Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- Japan's fabrication of "Korea-Japan Protocol" was a hideous criminal act to invade Korea and colonize it in the past, say leading newspapers of the DPRK Wednesday in bylined articles carried 107 years since Japan cooked up the protocol.
The protocol provided Japan with legal conditions for turning Korea into its colony, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:
This is intolerable as it is an act of distorting and falsifying the historic truth and violating international law. What should not be overlooked is that the Japanese reactionary forces are letting loose a string of nonsense that the "'Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty' was an option of the Koreans" and "there were agreements with different countries of the world." They are justifying Japan's past crimes, denying and whitewashing them. This is a revelation of Japan's criminal scenario to dodge settlement of its past crimes and repeat the history of its aggression.
Japan had better immediately stop its shameless distortion of the history and moves to stage a comeback to Korea and redeem its past wrongs as early as possible.
Minju Joson says that the Korean people will surely force Japan to redeem its crimes without fail.
