Turkish president returns to Turkey after one-day visit in Kuwait
ANKARA (A.A) - 27.02.2011 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Saturday returned to Turkey after concluding his contacts in Kuwait.
Gul attended celebrations marking the 50th foundation anniversary of Kuwait, 20th anniversary of end of Iraqi occupation and the 5th anniversary of Kuwait's Amir al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah's taking the office.
The Turkish president met with Governor General of Canada David Johnston, discussing political unrest in the Middle East and in Northern African countries.
Gul also attended in dinner hosted by Amir al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah before departing for Turkey.
