There are no Turkish citizens waiting for evacuation in Tripoli or Benghazi, Davutoglu says

ANKARA (A.A) - 28.02.2011 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Monday that there were no Turkish citizens left at the airports of Tripoli or Benghazi waiting for evacuation.
Speaking at a press conference in Ankara's Esenboga International Airport prior to his departure for Geneva where he will attend a UN Human Rights Council meeting, Davutoglu said that "to date, 17,734 people, including 577 foreign nationals, have been evacuated from Libya".
We witnessed successful cooperation during the evacuation of Turkish citizens from Libya. At this time, there are no Turks waiting to be evacuated from Tripoli or Benghazi, Davutoglu said.
We are now preparing for the second stage which involves providing food materials to Libyans. As soon as there is a demand, Turkey is ready to extend food items to Libya, Davutoglu added.
