QCB Announces Next Sunday Holiday for Banks & Financial Institutions
Doha, February 28 (QNA) - Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Monday announced that banks and financial institutions operating under its control will be closed next Sunday, a QCB press statement said.
The closure comes in implementation of the cabinet decision No.33 of 2009 which stipulated that the first Sunday of March of each year shall be an official holiday for all banks operating in the State of Qatar.
