GFM TEAMS UP WITH JASH TO TAP SAUDI FACILITIES MANAGEMENT MART

KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 (Bernama) -- Global Facilities Management Sdn Bhd (GFM) has teamed up with Riyadh-based Jash Technical Services LLC to tap Saudi Arabia's facilities management market.

In a statement Wednesday, GFM said it would hold 40 per cent stake and Jash 60 per cent in the joint venture.

It said the collaboration involved technical expertise transfer from GFM and would leverage on the local market knowledge of Jash to expand the business in Saudi Arabia.

GFM said it was confident the joint venture would increase its penetration of providing quality facilities management services to the region.

Its managing director, Ruslan Nordin, said a trial period of six months was carried out for both companies to understand each other's strengths and to determine the best possible approach to move forward.

"Following the successful trial period, we found it best to formalise the relationship by forming a joint venture company in Riyadh," he said.

Meanwhile, Jash executive vice president, Bader Saad Al Suliam, said working with GFM was the most efficient way to grow its busines.
