Northern mountain, midland region discusses industrial production
49.2 trillion VND (2.9 billion USD) in industrial production value by 2010.
The target was set at the region's 10 th conference on trade and industryheld in Hoa Binh province on August 22.
As planned, 55 percent of the targetted value will be accounted by the State-owned sector, 32 percent by the non-State sector, 13 percent from, theforeign-invested sector.
In the first six months of the year, the region obtained an industrial production value of 14.7 trillion VND, a year-on-year increase of 23.4 percent.-Enditem
