People can help quake and tsunami victims in Japan
VIENTIANE,MARCH15.(KPL)- The Laos and Japan Friendship Association has called on all strata in society countrywide to share sympathetic and express the spirit of friendship by contributing relief aid to help Japanese victims who have suffered from last Friday’s earthquake and tsunami hit.
Local people are able to provide the relief aid via the bank account of Laos and Japan Friendship Association No 010911011 9889 (US currency account) or 0101110026688 (kip currency) at the Banque pour le Commerce Exteriour Laos or all its branches nationwide.
Charity people can also donate fund directly to the Laos and Japan Friendship Association and the Foreign Relations Committee of Party Central Committee, located in Road of 23 August, Vientiane Capital.
The savage earthquake hit historical record of Japan following tsunami devastating six coastal northeastern provinces of Japan on 11 March. This has left huge property, infrastructure damage and lost lives particularly Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima province of Japan.
