      Qatar Participates in Paris Summit on Libya
Paris, March 19 (QNA) - Qatar participated in  Paris Summit, held  here on  Saturday in  support of  the Libyan people and how to implement UN Security Council related resolution No. 1973.
Qatar's delegation to the summit was led by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani.
Participated also in the summit called for by French President Nicholas Sarkozy, were the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Secretary General of the Arab League, European Union President, the heads of government of nine European countries as well as US Secretary of State and Foreign Ministers of a number of Arab and European countries.
The participants in the summit in their final statement welcome the UN Security Council resolution No. 1973, calling on Colonel Muammar Gaddafi for an immediate cease-fire .. and they said "that even though our contributions would be different, we are determined to act together to give full effectiveness of these decisions. "
